Setting: I’d say not long before Rain of Fire – when Lilah is feeling jokey!
Pairing: Lilah/Wesley
Rating: PG-13
Challenge: No angst. I know it's hard for this pair but....please just happy goodness. Some talk of babies or pregnancy

“Lilah! Will you GET DOWN from there?” Wes laughed, reaching up to the woman standing on his kitchen table.

She shook her head defiantly. “No. Not until you promise.”

“I’m not promising anything!”

She grinned, and looked around the room. “Then I wonder if there’s anywhere higher I could get.”

Wesley groaned, followed by a sigh. “Alright. I give in.” He reached up to her again, and she jumped down into his arms. “I promise not to call your office and pretend to be your chef again.”

“Good.” She kissed him. “Because you have no idea how much stick I’m getting here. Miss high and mighty thinks she’s too good for the staff canteen?”

“Well, surely it’s a better explanation for the weight you’ve put on lately than people spreading rumours that you’re pregnant?”

Her eyes widened. “HEY!” She smacked him gently on the arm. “I have NOT put weight on!”

He stepped back, and poked her in the stomach before running into the bedroom, laughing. “All I’m saying is, you’re a little more podgy than you used to be!”

Any trace of a grin was now gone from her face. “Oh, it’s war now, Wesley.” She ran after him into the bedroom and pushed him onto the bed. “You know I’m going to be paranoid now. So, what you have to do to make it up to me?” She grinned wickedly, and ripped open his shirt, planting a kiss on his chest. “Is help me work this ‘weight’ off.”

He smiled. “And how exactly might I do that, Miss Morgan? Be your personal trainer? Go out for a jog with you?”

“Personal trainer is one way of putting it. I think you know exactly what I have in mind, my dear.” She pulled off her own blouse. “And it’s going to take weeks until you’re forgiven completely.”
